Fimbulvinter is almost upon us! This Thursday at Manchester’s very own ‘Day & Night’, the Dead Sea Mob and friends Eight Bit, Guy McKinley, Micheal Shantz and yours truly, are set to deliver a most brutal night of live art. Thats not all, they will also be be super limited edition, one-colour prints available from each of the participating artists, lovingly printed live by Parliament of Feathers. Here’s my contribution (plus process shots), which depicts a viking and polar bear battling it out in order to survive the harsh winter, who will win? We’ll you have to attend the night and watch me paint the outcome.

Just finished up this commission for fellow Yorkshire man and Illustrator Peter O’toole. He already has some of my work inked on his skin and asked me to draw something up incorporating a few different elements and a Galway Hooker (traditional sailing boat used in Galway Bay off the coast of Ireland). Haven’t drawn anything like this before, so jumped at the chance.
